BIOS update...

Hi all, i bought a system from OCUK a couple of years ago which was pre-oc'ed for me and the profile is saved into my BIOS. I'd like to update my BIOS now but am unsure if i'm going to lose all my settings/profiles OCUK provided me with, any ideas?
If i would lose the settings etc is there a way to back them up? other than writing it all down pen & paper mode!? I've got Abit Ip35 Pro XE mobo with Q6600 cpu overclocked to 3.2ghz.

it will wipe the saved settings.

you could go through every bios screen and make a note of the settings used.

Quick question before i update..
What settings would need to be copied? Would it just be the "Abit Guru" settings which show the multiplier settings for cpu etc? Leave the rest default? or..?!

just check and copy everything, it will only cost you your time.
