Hi Im just trying to update my bios on an Asus laptop and want to check one thing.

the file ive downloaded has an .206 extension. Total file name is 'u36sdas.206'

im just wondering if this extension is correct as all the online tutorials seem to have an extension of .rom

im using ez flash in the bios.

Any ideas?

Thanks

easy ways above ^^ and if it's the right bios it will work, if it isn't it won't do it either so it can't go wrong either, if it doesn't find it then it won;t try and over write it.

zakblood,

so it wont let me update the bios with that file unless it can actually properly read that file? If so it should be cool to try i guess then as it wont harm anything if the extension is wrong. Just wanted to check that incase i bricked my computer
