Bioshock 2... Delayed.

That's actually a good thing in my eyes (wait for me to explain!), there's always too many games to get to grips with in the Christmas period, at least this'll spread out the big titles a bit.

Yeah, they're probably stuck on 'gameplay', 'atmosphere' and 'originality' :p

There are many games you could quip that at, but Bioshock isn't one of them. I'd normally reserve a comment like that for Fifa or Need for Speed or something.

Delayed because they realized the MP was pants in a game like this and would have to build it from the ground up. :/

My mind boggles as to how you think Bioshock isn't any of those. You must have extremely high standards when it comes to games.

No seriously I can, the ONLY thing that I thought was impressive was the start, the atmosphere that was created of seeing nothing but water and fire and wondering where the hell to go was brilliant, really really well done. But once you traversed into the depth with that diving bell or whatever it was, I just found the game nothing more than a very pretty dungeons and dragons game.

I have EXTREMELY high standards in games. Having a big involvement since it's beginning way back in the 80's I 'expect' developers and publishers these days to push out far more than the utter diabolical crap they are doing today.

Half of the industry need to be sacked, it's a disgrace of late.

(late night rant 'cos I'm working and have a sore throat over with :p)

finally someone who shares my disgust of bioshock!

i hated it. i couldnt wait to play it after all the rave reviews it got as well. worst game ive played in ages and it put me off gaming for a while. just getting back into it now after getting back onto some cod4 online multi.

The gameplay in Bioshock left something to be desired, but i've voiced my opinions on that one too many times and i'm sure everyone is bored of hearing them. However to say it lacked atmosphere is just mental imo, it is one of the most atmospheric games ever made, the music, voice acting, level design, graphics and sound effects were all perfect and culminated in one of the most exciting introductions to a game i've ever seen, this continued right until the 'plot twist', after that it became samey and rubbish though :(

Yeah right, one of your favourite games is burnout! ;)

Sounds like an awesome game considering how popular Dungeons and Dragons is/was.

@topic: Thats good will let me focus on COD:MW2, AC2 and all the other sequels which are coming out this year.

Well its a little dissapointing. I hope they don't get DNF syndrome where they try and make the best game ever only to have delay after delay.

I honestly don't care about the muti-player either. Why devs feel the need to include it in a great single player game is beyond me.

Ugh I forgot about the multiplayer, I can imagine whatever they do it isn't going to be great (unless it's a co-op thing like Gears of war horde mode / halo 3 ODST firefight where a team of 4 fight off against incoming big daddys / splicers).

One player is a little sister one player is a big daddy and you have to protect the little sister but the little sister has abilities to help the big daddy etc.

Random speculation

Dude. How.... let me come back later with a reply, I am so amazed you called Bioshock a "dungeons and dragons game" I need to actually take some time to adjust to what you said....

O.o
