BioShock 2 DLC scrapped for PC

was actually looking forward to this

the announcement was a line saying that the content will be released "at a later date" for the PC crowd.

for future reference this actually means "We are thinking of dropping it on the PC"

Maybe they were just butthurt nobody bought there multiplayer DLC on pc?

The PC game crowd are not as gullible to the pay for everything & anything.

I'm still playing the multi player. Shame they didn't bring out a Dedicated Server patch because the MP is awesome.

No surprise here! IMO the entire game is rubbish and more like Bioshock 1.5 or a mission pack. Except that its actually worse in every way but especially graphically & the laggy controls in MP (even after patching).

You can for ages buy it brand new for under £10 online (the deluxe version as well which was selling for £45 @ launch) which tells you how few copies were sold on PC...... So why would they bother with DLC for an unloved PC version only reason it sold well on the consoles was because of bioshock1's reputation.

Can't say I'm all that surprised TBH.

I can see Bioshock infinity being scrapped for PC, just as they ripped out pad support for Bioshock 2. Game is really meant to be a lounge on sofa and enjoy so gamepad is perfect for this...

Ok multi player maybe a keyboard and mouse would be better, but still give consumers the choice..

Await the ohnoooees PC gaming is dying crew anytime soon. lol

I could never get into the MP... it always seemed so dumbed down. All i remember when i played it was 'Grenade Launcher pwns all'. Wasn't awful but it wasn't particularly good either.

I'd rather be able to aim thanks... Bioshock was particularly awkward when you went for headshots because of the weird movement of enemies.

Agree with that. Loved Bioshock but one of my regrets is getting it on 360 rather than waiting for the PC version. Trying to hit the spider splicers was a nightmare at times.

As for Bioshock 2.... meh. It was ok. The combat was a bit better but I only completed it about 3 months ago and I already can't remember most of it. I remember pretty much all of Bioshock.

Infinite hasn't convinced me yet either.
