Bioshock 2 teaser.

A short cgi clip showing nothing in particular and the same Bioshock logo with a rather uninspired sequel title.

Meh. I’ll get excited once I see some in-game footage.
 
Why does everybody like bioshock so much? I thought it was rubbish, can someone explain the awsomeness that I seem to have missed out on?

Have you considered just for a brief moment that as humans, people can have differing opinions to your own?

Yes, but I want to be inspired as to why YOU like it. I just want to see what aspects of the game made it so good to play from your point of view.

Have to admit i thought it was pants as well. Could not get into it at all. Hated the combat but I always thought there was serious potential for a really good atmospheric game.

Bioshock is definatley held in too higher regard for my liking ;)

I honestly gave it three attempts, this time getting maybe half way through, and it has just lost it's appeal once more- even the atmosphere of the game is stale after a while. I can see it definatley has good points in the gameplay, but it is hardly a stand out title for me.

It was atmosphere for me, yes game play was like numerous other FPS out there but the atmosphere in Bioshock made you pay attention to the story and follow it through rather than jumping the cut scenes to get to the next bit of shooting/killing. Well that's my opinion anyway :)

felt the sameway yeah pretty graphics, storyline was there but nothing so amazing or different from the usual stuff out there...

I felt it was your average run and shoot and find key or figure out puzzle to get to next stage game...

They need to make a game that throws u into some crazy and unreal situations, cant they make a game where one mission u gotta go back in time and rescue yourself... and u get too see yourself shooting the bad guys and u gotta assist yourself, something crazy and different ! just not the usual find key or potion nonsense !

For instance I loved Prey its background/storyline and abilities was simple and great but most hated it lol
 
I'm playing through Bioshock atm. It's refreshingly different, and manages to hide it's linearity far better than some other FPS games I've played recently, such as FEAR.

A sequel sounds good to me!
