Hi Folks,

I have only just bought both of the above games but am struggling to enjoy them

With bioshock the graphics don't really wow me and it's very stuttery in places and I find it hard to keep up with the action when enemies are running about etc. I haven't checked my FPS or anything like that but I have every setting I can on and am playing at 1920 X 1200

Similarly with GTA IV, it just doesn't look right. I am not expecting amazing graphics with this game since it is so huge but they don't look that good. Again, I have every setting on the high except for all the draw distances etc that I have left on default. Also, like bioshock, I do get stuttering and some problems with lighting in the game.

Are both of the above down to me using SLI graphics cards? They are both patched to the lastest version and my GFX drivers are the latest official release (190.38 I think)

The rest if my specs are;
i7 @ 4Ghz
6GB ram
2 x GTX275
Asus P6T deluxe v2

Is there any fix for these problems?

I found that with Bioshock. Does it by any chance seem to stutter really bad when you kill an enemy? Cus I found that the ragdoll physics are pretty bad and it appears to stutter.

Bioshocks physic animations are locked to 30fps which is well known apparently. Which means it looks slow if your other fps is above 30fps i.e 60 etc. Which really annoys me.

You could try disbalbing SLI for each game in the Nvidia control panel, just to see if that makes a difference.

Some games just don't support SLI.
