Bioshock: demo overnight

360 is the lead version though so have to think it will play pretty well with a pad.

Well i've been playing system shock 2 again the last couple of days, not sure how similar Bioshocks UI is but i can't see how that would be done with the 360 pad.

It's been written from day one for both, and it has a seperate UI on the PC. Mouse and keyboard swings it though, especially if you have an 8800 GTS to run it on. 8800 GTS can run R6Vegas in 1680*1050 just fine, so it should do equally well with Bioshock too (also UE3).

The announcement is at 2AM GMT (To be specific, it will be at 2.45AM GMT) the announcement will be a trailer and a "surprise" that is rumoured to be a demo. The trailer will appear in HD and in SD on the Xbox Marketplace at 3.00 AM GMT (And I suspect the demo will be released then if the announcement is a demo).

Do you actually mean GMT or do you mean BST ? as its gonna be nearer 4 am if it's BST and we'll all be looking like this -->

Nothing to do with R6:V being UE3 though, that was such a bad port I cried.

I just can't see it, announcing on TV that the demo is available 'now'. More likely they'll announce when it's coming and it'll be in a week or so. I'll still be checking the marketplace at 2 and 3 am just in case though.

All just sounds like guesswork to me (the demo bit).

For sure, which is even more evidence Bioshock will be fine on a 8800 gts since it won't be a sloppy port.

Btw if you do have the system to run R6Vegas on PC it's absolutely awesome, I've only just finished it last night and loved every second. Never got far on the 360 one because of the gamepad aiming issues.

For the brits, the announcement is 2.45AM and trailer (And demo??) release will be at 3.00AM

I'm hoping to get it together with a spangly new Elite. I've become so used to the little Xbox gamepad now that I'm totally crap with keyboard & mouse. Besides I don't think my Radeon 9250 will cope. Hehehhe.

Well the show starts at 2AM GMT, but the announcement is due at 2.45AM and will then rear it's fantastic face on the marketplace at 3AM - however, Im not staying up, I'll wait until the morning

Please someone post a "OMG BIOSHOCK DEMO ON THE MARKETPLACE" thread just so I know that I can turn my PC off and turn my xbox on

That picture every keeps posting is just for the VE3D new website design, hence the VE3D logos, and they've confirmed their new look does launch tomorrow. I know the nautical theme suggests it could be Bioshock related, but I can't see what Bioshock exclusive VE3D would have that would make it relevant.

I think the rumour of a demo coming orginally came from the fact Spike tv was going to have an exclusive announcement and people just seemed to assume it was a demo the VE pic probably doesn't even have anything to do with Bioshock
