They do stop the demo working - make sure you remove ALL the files you added to your Sys32 folder.

I got the sound prob so i turned off EAX, worked fine after that.

Same problem, I hear the into inside the plane but once im in the water sound is dead :confused:

, Vista x64 downloaded from steam.

EAX is off!
All I did was change stereo to 5.1.

EDIT: Don't tell me I have to dl this 3rd time, 1st time i got a corrupted one 2nd time I got it from steam in vista x64

yes everything works fine, MSI 7900GTO, C2D E4300@3ghz, 2GB PC2-6400, Gigabyte 965P-S3 using onboard sound connected to an external amp via optical cable

Posted this on another thread, after a few mins on the net it seems that the steam install damages the direct-x install.... reinstall direct-x and you should be ok, worked for me
