Can we just not be happy for PS3 owners instead of arguing over subjective semantics?
Arguing over peoples personal opinions of word meanings?

Well Shamikebab said at least that it's just how he chooses to categorise platforms, but if you're saying it's some fact that all gamers should know then I'd really like to see a source.![]()
I'm still waiting for some sort of source for this fact, since you lay it out as something all 'gamers' should know.If you gamed on all formats for quite a while you'd know. Even around '95 and '96 certain games that were on PC were still exclusive.
how is it trolling?
are you denying most pc games look and run better than the console games?
which is maybe why in the console section they dismiss the game on pc and claim it is exclusive no
trolling how? is this the favourite comeback of all console owners who cant handle a debate?
cop out comeback that does more trolling than the original post
so you are trolling you are seeking a reaction that takes the thread off topic
novel approach to debate some have in here its like a whole new internet
See how me and Ulfhedjinn were discussing, that was a proper discussion. You just come in blasting around unfounded statements, looking for a response. Saying that 99% of the time pc games are better is pure speculation, many people would disagree with that. Some games are better on PC, some are better on console. No-one is dismissing pc gaming, merely saying it is not in direct competition with 360 and PS3. I am saying it is indirectly in competition. Christ, for some reason you all seem to have got it into your head that I'm saying PC gaming is lesser or something, I'm a pc gamer myself!
And as an aside, could you please structure your posts better, you seem to just go onto a new line at random points, its a pain to read.
In the current generation, What's seen as a 360 exclusive, Just means it won't be coming to PS3, and Vice Versa.
I'm still waiting for some sort of source for this fact, since you lay it out as something all 'gamers' should know.
That's funny because games like Bioshock don't have "only on Xbox 360" at the top of their box. It's only on games like Gears Of War where the game has been ported much later, and obviously does not apply once it has.Quite simple, you could look on the top of some Xbox cases, you could look in magazines from the Playstation era.
For shame Nokkon, for shame. I ask you to back up your "fact" twice and you fail, so you have to resort to calling me a PC fanboy? Not noticed that I also defended the Wii when it was excluded from competition?Sorry if not everything revolves around your precious PC gaming market. It must hurt does it?
And I am saying this "rule" makes no sense whatsoever, an exclusive is an exclusive. No one is excluding anything. Wii and PC get version of the game, But it's just always been a rule of thumb, That when a game is release on one console and not the other, It's been named an exclusive for that console.
And I am saying this "rule" makes no sense whatsoever, an exclusive is an exclusive.
If you're admitting that this "rule" makes no sense then why defend it?It doesn't have to make sense for it to be a "rule" in action![]()

I said Xbox, not Xbox360.That's funny because games like Bioshock don't have "only on Xbox 360" at the top of their box. It's only on games like Gears Of War where the game has been ported much later, and obviously does not apply once it has.
I don't have magazines from over 10 years ago amazingly. As for gaming magazines, I don't read them. But I'm sure you can't be bothered to provide me with some scans where they say a game is an exclusive even when it's on another platform.
It's not news to anyone in here you're a PC fanboy. You come into threads here all the time and do nothing but trash them. Console games have never been in competition with PC games, never, not now, not then. My point is that even way back when games on PC and one format were called exclusive, I know this from knowing the market, reading magazines and basically knowing my stuff. If you don't want to believe me, your call. But I'm right. For shame Nokkon, for shame. I ask you to back up your "fact" twice and you fail, so you have to resort to calling me a PC fanboy? Not noticed that I also defended the Wii when it was excluded from competition?
I know you have a 360.I don't expect it to be common knowledge either but I have, and love playing on, the Xbox 360.
It's both really. I've never heard of this "rule" since last night when it was posted in this thread and I don't understand how it's relevant or how it makes any sort of sense, now I am also wondering why people feel like they have to defend a senseless rule.lol, I wasn't aware this was a matter for defence. I thought you weren't understanding the fact it was so.
See, that makes perfect sense to me and I call such a game a "console exclusive". Console exclusives are what made the decision for me between buying an Xbox 360 and a Playstation 3.It is so, It may not make complete sense to count the PC out, But it's fully understood. That an exclusive on 360, Just means it's not on PS3.
And just so you know, As far as I'm aware, the same isn't said for Wii, If something comes to Wii and PS3, It's not considered a PS3 exclusive.
I've been trashing the Wii instead of defending its status as competition? It's not news to anyone in here you're a PC fanboy. You come into threads here all the time and do nothing but trash them.
I'd love to ask them personally if they mean "exclusive, period" or "console exclusive."http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Bioshock+360+exclusive&meta=
