I was thinking this surely cant still have an ETA of 2012? It seemed to far in the future when they first announced it but now they've released this gameplay footage surely end of next year is more likely?

If the last two Bioshock games were anything to go by, pretty high. It's still running off UE3 after all.

2 years away!! bit of a premature reveal...publishers or its investors getting the jitters perhaps?

Looking at the video on XBL I'd say if it wasn't a 360 it was something else underpowered since it's a little lumpy in places which can indicate screen tear removal in accordance with MS's conditions for Xbox Live Marketplace video.

No, haven't played it since it was released but it left a big impression on me and it's still one of my favourite games.

I think it looks great considering how early on in the development it is. Don't forget how scripted the halo 2 demo was and no one complained about that much.

Great video, lets face it though, it's barely gameplay. Anyone remember the first Bioshock 1 vid? Kind of reminded me of that.
