"When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we've uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we've decided to move the game's release to February."

When they showed the rolling gameplay demo last year, I genuinely thought that it'd have been released by now. When they then said it'd be October I was quite surprised, so it does make you wonder how much more they still have to do if they're delaying it by 3-4 months.

Meh. As I've grown older (not that I'm old at 21) I've got less impatient. Games like Trespasser show us what happens to great potential which isn't given enough development time. I'm happy to wait in the knowledge I'll get a better game :)

It looks awesome from what we've seen so far.

Yeah I'm quite happy to wait, still think the gameplay demo they showed had a lot of shortcuts and was far from finished (reminds me of the one they did for Halo 2)

As great as this game looks and I can imagine it will be amazing I feel the longer it is delayed the more risk it has of not doing very well. If the current rumours are true then the new xbox may be with us in 2013 and to be honest if that is true Id rather save for that then invest any more money in to games for the 360. Levine makes exceptional games but sometimes devs can make a fatal error with timing and this could be it. Then again I am very much probably wrong.

On the other side though a game that was supposed to be out this year after so many years of development already and then gets delayed again isnt looking good for the game. By now after all this time it shoulod be close to being ready. To be delayed and now due for release with another year to go doenst bode well. Therer must have been some prtty game breaking bugs or problems for this to happen. As all the story and voice work has been completed for a while now and so its not new story theyre adding or levels it must be just coding and that shoudnt take this long when the game was announced so many years ago

When I think about it, I have been waiting for this game for so long now that I will probably be super disappointed when it comes out :p

That's the problem when they keep delaying games, they say they're putting it back to improve on it so we get our hopes up thinking it will be fantastic and then it usually can't live up to our expectations and people get disappointed :(
Happened to a friend of mine with the first Bioshock 'cause he got sucked into all the hype and got so excited that when he played it he was disappointed. It's a shame when that happens 'cause it's such a good game.
