I'm after an FPS. Played Quake 4 and loved it. I've never played any of the Half-Life games so the Orange Box is very tempting but I also really like the look of Bioshock - I tried the demo and really enjoyed it.
I'm in a quandry which would good peeps recommend?

Both but Episode 2 is just simply class. There are just these odd moments when the the game demostrates it's awesome design and rightly puts it ahead of any FPS. It's just simply clever. Portal is clever and different. TF2 is fun althouh I get bored with Online games quick but that's me. Orange box, then BioShock.

Both are excellent. Bioshock is great for 1 run through, not much replay value. Orange box has TF2 which has loads of playtime in it.

Buy Half Life 1 for about £5, play that or really Half Life 2 could be less of an experience. Then buy orange box and enjoy it at it's full glory :)

bioshock is one of the most atmospheric games i've ever played and it was the one i bought first. but from a value for money point of view - 4 or 5 games for the price of 1? - it has to be orange box. make sure you buy bioshock though it really is excellent.

once you've played the demo for bioshock you have pretty much played the whole game, although its quite long, its all the same thing repeated over and over, and the orange box gives you loads of games, and the hl2 series is an awsome package, but once you've finished it you will be waiting for episode 3 to come out!

I thought Bioshock was completely boring, I loved the setting, the graphics, the music, but the actual game was dull, Orange Box on the other hand is a fantastic collection of games and all of them ooze quality.

Half life 2
Half life 2: Episode 1
Half life 2: Episode 2
Team Fortress 2
Portal

Vs

Bioshock

Easy choice if you ask me :)
