I hate asking questions like this tbh, but will it run ok on this spec

DC 2.4
800GTS 640MB
2GB
XP
At res 1400 x 900 with the wide-screen fix of course.

You won't get DX10 graphics by the way.

edit: emphasis on stupid question. Seriously, you're asking if a 2.4 duo core with a 8800 can run the game?

I know, that's why i hate asking

But with some games you never know if the best hardware will run it. Because if its badly coded it will run like crap.

And yeah i know about the DX10, waiting until we buy vista at work so i can borrow a copy

Make sure you don't get the Steam version, it's absolutely plagued with bugs, even moreso than the retail version.

Na cant be assed with steam, as i only have a 1mb connection (dam country side)

Just heading down to get the game now from a well known game selling shop

stupid question, for a start read the specs of the game, then realise youve got above the recommended, then realise you can play it! huray for you! but no, you couldnt even manage that.

Doubt it Bioshock requires 8GB at the very least and a 2048MB graphics card

It will run Bioshock just fine
