Ok i try not to let games get to me but this game is soooooo annoying and i just want to get it done now. I have been enjoying it on and off although it hasnt lived up to the hype so far :D (yes i know im a little late to the game but i was busy playing other stuff)

Any way i am currently in Fort Frolic and have been asked to take photos of some bosses.. All of one i have done. However a guy called Cobb is doing my head in. I have found him and used a big daddy to smash his face in.. But now i cant find his body.. the arrow is just pointing to an empty bit of floor.. i can see a mask near where he died but no corpse.. I have also tried photographing the empty floor and all around it with no joy..

Anyone know how i do this bit as Ive spent the past two nights trying to find his corpse to photograph and i simply cannot.

this happened to me too (the boss at the ice place). sadly the only way to get around this is to start from the beginning....thats what i had to do

Have you only got the one save? (ie not used some sort of "rolling" save system so you have something to fall back on in every game). I'm not sure if you can do this on the console version, but you can on the PC game...seriously, ever since having to start Twilight Princess again from the start after having played over 20 hours I've started to do this now wherever possible. Makes gaming a lot less depressing when things go wrong!

If you're on the PS3 or PC, have a hunt round online to see if you can download somebody else's game save - stick it in the save games folder on the PC, or on a USB stick for the PS3...you may not end up with all the same plasmids, but it's better than having to start again!

on the ps3, theres an auto save file which saves at the beginning of each level so might not have to start totally from scratch, unless you deleted that save file of course :p

You can definitely do it on the Xbox version.

I think it's a standard requirement for any game for me. :p

:( So its a bug .. not sure ill bother then as i spent so long on this area i really cant be bothered to do it all again. Ive got multiple saves but they have all been overwritten since its happened. As i usually save it ever 30 mins.. What a pile of poop.

Thanks guys anyway, i was hoping it was just something i was missing. But think ill trade it in now as its been getting on my nerves anyway.

Fort Frolic is one of the easiest levels.... What gives? You should be somewhere near brokenly overpowered, and the enemies are still weaklings (with the exception of the elite Rosies IIRC). The game really is worth seeing through to completion.

I had this happen to me, i just went back to where I found him the first time and he spawned again.

why overwrite your saves? I have about 1Gb of game save data for Bioshock on my 360 :o
So I can jump back to any point in the game, which I do cos it's my favourite game!

If your going for Brass Balls (which i did on my first playthrough) it's essential to save (and keep it) before doing anything major i.e. before a Big Daddy or a "Boss". I even made saves before a hack attempt (as I did the whole 1100GS in first play) in case I failed and the overload killed me (I have been told overloads wont kill you, but didn't wanna find out). I also saved before going to a gatherers garden, just in case I didn't like my purchases ;)

In short; SAVE SAVE SAVE

Well i think it just got so hyped by everyone i had spoken to i was expecting something amazing. And i was say it was OK at best. I found the aiming on the 360 Joypad very bad (maybe some sort of acceleration settings maybe as i generally done struggle with FPS's on the 360) Swapped it for Red Faction Guerrilla.. which isnt amazing but am enjoying it :D

One thing i was a bit annoyed by was the fact Bioshock was set in an entire city under water but apart from the first bit of the game there was almost not water in it. I don't think you ever actually swim. Might get the squeal if its any better.

Going by the developer video the ocean plays a bigger part in Bioshock 2
