Bioshock Nvidia Drivers

Ahead of the game's full release, NVIDIA has released new ForceWare beta graphics drivers for both Windows XP and Vista that are designed to have "improved compatibility for Bioshock". Specific issues for the 2K Games first person action-RPG were not revealed.

Bioshock ATi Hotfix

ATI released two BioShock hotfixes for Windows XP and Windows Vista, adressing problems such as stuttering with preload, mnissing/black surfaces and/or display corruption (thanks Blues). The hotfixes also work for the 64-bit versions of these operating systems. For supported video cards check the readme. Enjoy!

Activation Problems

SecuRom limits Bioshock installations to 2 hardware configurations at the same time. If you want to install BioShock on a third computer using the same Steam account, you have to uninstall one of your previous installations('Delete local content').

Its not just steam with the 2 activation issue. Also the dvd version.

Just a quick update,

If your trying to get the FOV working in Vista 64 , I had to run the exe as Administrator to get the settings to work

Ive just found a link to a Creative Beta Driver :-

This latest driver includes some performance enhancements made in particular for Unreal Tournament 3 and other UnrealEngine3 based titles.

Cant find any other information on it at the moment, so beware when installing that it is Beta and Creative software

Edit - They are Unified and work on Vista/XP 32/64

But going by this that i found they dont look to hot at the moment, but its only one guys experience

Have you done the recent performance and reliability updates for Vista

Install latest DX and re-install Visual C++ maybe
