I am thinking of buying Bioshock but I red online before buying and I am seeing lots of people say that you can only instal this 5 times (originally 3 until the masses complained). I format a few times a year so this would be a major problem for me or if I upgraded this also would count as one of my few instal limits. I also red installing was a nightmare as the game doesn't like antivirus or even audio/video codecs installed on the computer.

Can anyone clarify all this to me? For a game I want to play this is really putting me of buying.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, it's been patched now so you don't have the limits on installs. Or if you're still worried get the version on Steam (which will cost a lot more).

Edit.

"Our other methods of copy protection remain," community manager Elizabeth Tobey elaborated. "You will still have to activate your copy, and you will still need to keep the disc in the drive. SecuROM has not been removed--just the activation limits on number of installs and number of computers you can install BioShock on simultaneously."
