Biostar 7050v-m7

Hi people.
Ok i aquired a Q6600 , bought 2 gig of team value ram 800mhz and stuck it in a biostar Gf7050v-m7 mobo.
Plus a Gt8600gt.
I am on a budget.
CAN YOU CONFIRM IT'S A CRAP MOTHERBOARD?
I cant get it to clock above 2.6.
I did get a new heatsink , AKASA-965.
Runs prime 15c lower than the stock intel heatsink.

Yes, it sucks. What do you expect from a £25 board. If you paid any more then you were ripped off. There are not that many decent clocking m-atx boards and the ones that are usually have a price premium.

You could have picked up a Asus P5KPL-AM for around £31 or a Gigabyte GA-73VM-S2H for around £35 which are far better boards. Both would have clocked better than your Biostar.

Last week i got a brand new, still sealed Gigabyte P35 DS3R on a buy it now on the bay for £28. Excellent board and a good clocker too. You just need to shop around and do some research before you buy.
