Biostar TForce 6100-939 LED query

Hi a just built a rig using the Biostar TForce 6100-939 Mobo. It's currently formatting the HDD, but there are 4 LED's on the Mobo that are red just now. Is that normal, or is it warning me about something?

Are you using 4 ram sticks ?

No just 2 x 1Gb in slots DIMMA1 and DIMMA2

Thought it might be a ram stick thing, doesnt it say in the manual.

I guess its diagnostic and red doesnt sound good, but if it works dont worry too much

4 lit is normal. If you look in the manual there's some codes, if there's less than 4 it's either a VGA or a RAM issue. During bootup they flash but then settle on 4 if it's all fine.

Thanks P4radox. I looked in the manual but didn't spot it first time around. I see the section there now though, so all makes sence. You'd think they'd make the LED's green, as red normally means there is something up. Anyways - still at the stage of setting everything up, currently copying all my data onto it from an old rig. Must see if I can do a little overclock tomorrow when finished, as I'm dying to see what this baby will do. Cheers again.
