Biostar tforce 6100-a939 BIOS ???? help :O)

hi folks . recieved this mobo this morning but i am a little confused .

I have downloaded the bios update .However it comes as

tforce bios.bst

Is the the bios file itself i.e can i use it to programe the bios using AWD flash

or do i need some other programe to update this .bst bios file from DOS.

never seen a bios file with this extension before and i dont want to rush in and possibly stuff the pc.

Rebels Haven do some great beta BIOSs for the TForce, ^that^ is the latest.
I just use Winflash (came on the Biostar CD) and point it to that file.

havent done any overclocking yet .However from looking at the bios and reading various forums these can clock very well indeed .Some people are getting over 300 ht/fsb lol .Crazy amount of bios options in the overclock area.Vastly more than my asus a8n-e which will be moved to the spare pc.

i sorted out the .bst thing. seams that the mobo bios has built in bios flash utility .All i had to do was put the .bst on a floppy and point to it from the mobo bios, upgrade bios option.Easiest bios upgrade i have done . No more bootable floppy/.bin/awd flashing for me with this mobo.

got it up to 2.9 on air using tforce and a643800 venice runs 3dmarks etc nice and stable. 100 mhz short of my target lol.mobo will do more according to varios forums guess my chip is at its limit sadly.

ah well roll on conroe
