Has anyone had any experience with this board?

I've been nothing but impressed with my TForce 6100 board and its ability to get stupidly high overclocks with minimal effort, and it also only cost me £49.

The 965 TForce seems to be in the same league. This caught my eye in particular:

From here.

They are available from a competitor for a very reasonable price (FAR cheaper than a P5B or DS3). If I ever get round to upgrading, one of these boards would be on my list for definite.

There's a thread about it over at XS, they're hitting circa 530 fsb!! Madness, if only ocuk would stock them..

Edit, just found one, quite tempted, don't think i'd need to reinstall windows either..

Yeah I've been following the thread over at XS for some time and waiting for one to arrive in the UK somewhere. It's not often something so cheap offers such great performance.

p4ra, you gonna get one and test it out first? :p

I'd really love to upgrade, trust me - I haven't had any new hardware for well over a year and it's killing me. :p

Unfortunately I have other financial issues at the moment, so won't be upgrading 'til August or September:(.

I'd still love to see someone on this forum get hold of one and do a mini-review though.

edit: reading the review on Reghardware, I'm confused as to what these are:

Are they maybe a wireless headset and connectors for mobile phones? Seems a bit of an odd addition to the motherboard accessory list..

Might order one of these boards in a few weeks once they're back in stock. :)

Edit - ah just realised the PT is in stock.. mmm...

I cracked but I bought the Asus 650i board instead! The async memory option and 500 fsb is just too good to dismiss! Only a tad more pricey too..

Fair enough, I've just realised that the 650i chipset exists. I'm reading through the thread right now.

What does async memory mean? Is it a divider?

It means you can clock the RAM independently of the FSB, so you can have the RAM at it's max clock and not be limited by your chip and the boards dividers

Woah, that sounds cool. So instead of just selecting one of 3 or 4 dividers, you can actually set the RAM speed to a specific frequency, and no matter what the FSB it will always be locked to that frequency?
