Bird poop.

Why, oh why does it have to corrode the paint on my sisters car? When you goto remove it you can see some of the paint has been taken off with it.

Damn those birds

Does anyone else have this problem? What can you touch it up with?

Try t cutting the area then ive it a damn good polish

Bird poo is the devils work, I am sure they all get drunk on paint stripper the night before!!

Always make sure you clean it off when you notice it, best way to stop it.

Its really annoying as well, today i was cleaning it and giving it a wax and i found so many of these faded dark area's which you can see when you look closely. Looks fine from far away though.

if its dried lay a wet cloth over it and allow it to rehydrate the poop so that it wipes off easily

Get some Meguiars Scratch X and Meguiars round aplicator pads to remove any etching marks. Ok, it may not completely remove it if it is really bad, but with a little patience and passion, you could make a nice job of it.

It depends how big the area is, but id say maybe a little bit of t-cut and then polish until your arm goes numb.

Ideally you need to get it off as soon as you notice it. Its a pain but prevention is better than the cure and all that. Most of the time I just chuck a jug of water over it on my way out in the morning.
