Birds!

Went to Birdland a couple of weeks ago. It was cold, rained half the time and was as dark as you like. Given that, I'm quite amazed I managed to get ~40 half decent photos from the 340 I took!

They're all quite nice. Well composed and generally sharp. However the slightly unsharp eye of the Cockatoo is a bit of a shame. I prefer the penguins to the others also.

Judging by the exif data attached to the images, a Canon 20D and a rather sharp Sigma 17-70mm (could be wrong about the lens though).

Very nice images! I really like the colour sin them all, they look like Sigma colours too.

Maybe it's just my screen but they all appear to be ever so slightly out of focus. Is anyone else seeing this?

I thought the same thing when I first saw the scuzi. I think the af hasn't worked to well on the last couple. But still they are great shots with deep, rich colours. Keep up the good work

Very nicely executed photography. Very much a fan of the first 3!
