Birkenstocks or flip flops ?

Cant say i like either of them, the only time i wear flip flops is on holiday at the beach or something.

Isn't that what the OP said anyway

Personally I wouldn't even wear them on the beach, i'd rather go barefoot than look like a ginger beer.

Thats what im saying, flip flops > birkenstocks. If you just plan on wearing them at the beach a cheap pair of flip flops can be had for under a tenner. Why spend more on a pair of fancy ones.

Got a pair of Birkenstock Roma's (same as the OP link) that I wear round the house like they were me slippers. Easily the most comfortable footwear I've ever worn.

Wouldn't be caught dead wearing them "outside" mind.

I have some Komodo flipflops made of straw and old motorbike tyres. They're awesome :D

Just use your feet tbh.

You telling me you could walk 2-3 miles on tarmac in your bare feet at 1pm in the afternoon in somewhere like portugal/spain when it's 30c? Smells like Chicken, tastes like chicken but it's actually your feet!

It's either flip-flops/birkenstock type footwear or trainers when you are on holiday.

Trainers tbh.

Feets for the beach.

Or you can tie chicken portions to your feet, and by the time you get home supper will be ready!

The only trainees i have found remotely comfy on holiday were the original Climacool Adidas ones, nice and cool on the feet, since then Adidas have 'fashioned' them up and added needless bits and bobs that they no longer offer the cooling i liked.

Main reason for flip flops, i don't like sweaty feet!

Now either get back to work or get looking after that young lady of yours you slacker! ;)

Merrell Hydro or Merrell Vapors failing that something like Teva water shoes. Flip flops and Birkenstocks are just wrong :p

payed £40 for birkenstocks, worth every penny. Comfy, cool and look good.

depends whether you want them to last, or prefer a passing fad of flop.

these ones to be precise (in case anyone cares)
