Birmingham Breakers

Has anyone know of any good salvage yards / breakers in the Birmingham area? I'm after a rear wiper wash motor for my 1999 Golf, and I don't really want to pay £70+ for a new one.

I'd seen one on an auction site from a breakers who offered me one for £30, but after seeing his feedback I changed my mind

There are loads of VAG breakers in Birmingham. Go buy yourself a auto-trader and you will have loads in there... Alternatively I can give you the number to a guy in Wolverhampton who owns a breakers... he is pretty much guaranteed to have one.

There is a good generic one in stirchley, south birmingham on the pershore road. He does allsorts though.

Is henry Taroni still going in Brum? theres a lot of breakers in brum, but a fair percentage are japanese only.

Have you tried GSF or Eurocarparts?

I've tried GSF and they're charging £54 for a new one.

get yourself over to bordsley green industrial or trading estate forgot exactly whats its called but there are plenty around there

The thing with something like that is that there is no gurantee that the one from the tat yard will be any good either long term. You might end up spending the £54 in 6 months having spent 25 now
