have to go up to birmingham tomorrow for work, may have the chance for an hour or so to go snapping around the city. Anyone give me the heads up on any good spots...time is tight so I need to plan rather than wonder round...

Never been into the place but I'm sure theres some fancy building called the Bull ring or something.

I wouldn't say there's a lot in the city centre, your best bets are obviously the Bullring and a couple of the buildings surrounding it (there's a pretty church next to it) and perhaps also at the bottom end of Broad St where the oversized rip-off ferris wheel is based.. There's some nice buildings up around there

Photographers often get harrassed by security at the Bullring, which is a shame as its quite photogenic.

Photography inside is not allowed (as with any shopping centre) but the exterior shouldn't be a problem.
