Birthday Gift Ideas

It’s my mum’s birthday next week and I have no idea what to get her, seems im in this situation every year. It’s very difficult knowing what to get her, normally its "something for the house".

Any ideas would be very helpful, thanks.

I tend to just ask my Mum what she wants..try that first? Or does it have to be a surprise?

Okay well, hobbies. What does she enjoy doing? Does she collect things? Play a sport? Given any hints such as "Oh, i'd love one of those" etc.

I'm not sure how we can help. You need to know someone before you can buy them a great gift. Anything we suggest will be generic present material.
