Look at my PC in my sig. I use it mainly for "enthuiast" gaming, asin i spent 13 hours straight gaming yesterday. So i need it to be fast, with basically no lagg times. The games i play included Dota..Yes the legendary Dota has come back into my life. Erm going to see how AoC plays and maybe Guildwars 1 & 2 when it comes out.

Budget is around £220

Questions I Have

What Case can cool me sufficantly at these long periods? <A new case is a must!
What PSU can cope with the time lengths? < New PSU is a must!
Would i see a big increase in speed with a Raptor compared to my Spinpoint F1?
Shall i upgrade to 4GB RAM, Or just a better 2GB Kit?
A new CPU cooler to keep temps down, perhaps a RAM cooler, and GPU cooler? <<Is watercooling in my budget?

I think the best upgrade for your system would be something like an 8800gt, as for case and psu, look at the coolermaster bundle ;).

My suggestions..

-As modern gaming gfx cards go the 8500GT is pants! The cheapest 8800gt you can find will blow you away!

-A name brand 400-450watt will be all you need for your system setup.

-Stick with the spinpoint f1 drive it has great capacity and is a very fast 7200 drive.

-2GB is still more than enough even if you’re running games on vista. 4gig is worth thinking about but I would maybe think about that when you next upgrade.

-A better cpu cooler is definitely worth thinking about, may get a few extra clocks out of that 4800+ :) don’t worry about better air cooling for you ram and gfx, I’m not saying it’s not worth it, not at all its just money can be spent on more beneficial items.
