Bit annoyed, just got home to find the following considerate golf driver has decided to block my garage...

So Mr Golf, a big thank you from me, my poor car has to spend the night out in the cold. I'm just lucky my car is on the outside and I don't need to get it out of the garage.

Suggestions??

Trolly jack.

Haha yeah, but thing is, even if I had a trolly jack it would be in the garage!

I work shift work and I never park my car in front of my garage, always inside. I think that some **** has just assumed that as there is never a car there it is ok to park there.

I'm going to be terribly British and just leave a note I think.

"Dear owner,

This garage is in use 24/7, please be a bit more considerate of others next time. If you would like to call me on 07********* we can discuss your parking."

Not sure if I should include my mobile number in case I get some nut job though.

OK

"Dear owner,

This garage is is use 24/7, please be a bit more considerate of others next time.

Besides the fact that your parking is inconsiderate you have also parked in contravention with the Highway Code Point 243.

Continuance of parking here will cause me to report your actions which could result in your car being clamped or removed.

Thank you."

Yeah I just realised that after reading it back

Adjustments made. Could be an honest mistake, but at least they will know for next time.

I hate shared car parks, people in general are rude, ignorant and selfish, and you can't block people in your space without blocking about 5 other spaces.

Yeah but the thing is there isn't exactly a shortage of spaces on our estate. The cheeky begger was still there this morning when I left for work!

Just an update, the car was gone this evening when I got home, mine is safely tucked away in the garage tonight so I hope the golf doesn't reappear.

My GF saw the owner before I got home and asked him to move it, unfortunately she didn't realise it had been blocking my garage all night or she would have had stronger words. Annoyingly this means the golf was parked there all afternoon as well.

Oh and to those who suggested calling round to see whose car it was - not a good idea after midnight! Didn't have time to do it in the morning either, but would have done this evening if he was still there.

Think I am going to put a sign on the garage asking people to keep clear.

Thanks again for your comments, i'll update if there are any future developments. :)
