Bit Boring but im looking for an OOOLD GPU

Hi Guys, my sister has a 1 year old Medion PC, its missing its GPU so im looking for something to get it back up and running, she doesnt want to play games on it, not at the moment anyway, she just needs it running.

I dont know if a brand new ATI 6450 will work or do I need something a lot older.

The PSU has 250W in the specs and the motherboard is a no name as far as I can see but it does have a PCI-E card slot and the adapter plate is missing too so it used to have a card in there before.

PS dont ask why I dont know much of the history of this PC, my sis split from her boyfriend and he ripped parts out before she noticed what he did.

No Nill nada, cant even turn it on to see if the HDD he left has the OS on it

God knows what was so valuable that he had to rip out since this system contained a 250w psu o_O go for the cheapest PCI-E GPU you can find is what I'd do.

why dont you attach the hard drive to your PC and see whats on it in the mean time ?

Idd, if the HDD has a OS on it, maybe just buy the cheapest second hand card ya can get ya hands on that uses pci-e.
