Hi looking for some better fans for my case to try and cool down my gpu that is making abit of noise while gaming, the standard bit fenix fans are rubbish and hardly push any air out.

So what I want to do is achieve better airflow in my case with new fans at the front and at the top of the case. Could anybody recommend any fans to get for the bit fenix case and would I need to have a mesh front to achieve a better air flow ?

abit stuck for room on the top of the case so that would after be a 120mm but can get a big one at the front as I have plenty of room

if you could list the product below that would be a big help thanks

that's my case http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-144-BX&groupid=2362&catid=1850

Stick your favourite color of a 230mm on the front (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/search_results.php?keywords=230mm&_=1410276792997).

You won't need anything else as the case is quite small, and I am assuming you have a fan at the back as exhaust as well. What GPU is it, and is it blowing air out (Blower-style reference), or a special one (2-3 fans, mixing air "inside" the case)? Also, is your sidepanel windowed, or does it have a mesh?

As for your question about the mesh front, it won't make a difference with the proper fans.

I know the fans that come with the case don't push "that much" air, but they are quiet as hell, so they'll make the ideal top fans once you provide some more specs in order to determine whether it's best to have them blow in or out. I got the same case on my 2nd build.

thanks for getting back. The back fan is a Corsair Hydro H90 140mm High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler. The side panel is metal with small holes at the side for the gpu heat to get out, all the fans are blowing inside the computer.

what are you saing I should swap the front and top fans so they are blowing out instead of in ?

Which GPU is it, specifically? This is quite an important bit to determine the case's total airflow.

I'll get back to the other questions on next post :)

It's a Gigabyte Radeon R9 290 Rev2.0 WindForce 3X OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Alright. Windforce means it is blowing air all over the place, and since in the prodigy the card is sideways, it means it's mostly blowing air upwards and towards the motherboard. The side vents help to give it air.

As cooling is not an exact science, you can try three things:

1. Top fans as intake will give more air to the H90, but will blow "against" the graphics card, making the noise from that even worse.

2. Top fans as exhaust will give the graphics card lower temperatures, but they might "Starve" your H90 of air, increasing your CPU temperatures.

3. No fans at all on the top, letting air flow freely in wherever.

As top fans I mean moving your existing Bitfenix fans to the top of the case. I would still recommend getting that 230mm big fan on the front to give air to the whole case. It's practically noiseless.

I'm sorry I didn't have an exact answer, but often the best way for cooling is just to try and see what happens. Good luck!

There is also a fourth option that will be strange, but might also bring excess dust into the case. Put a 230mm in the front to blow in, put your rear fan (The h90) to blow IN, and put the two 120mm bitfenix fans into the top to blow out. This is probably the best option in reality, but could be dusty as hell.

I hope my post wasn't too confusing, I know I got my thoughts mixed up a bit while writing.

I can't answer that, but as far as I know, 230mm fans are very quiet due to their size, so you shouldn't have a problem with noise.
