im trying to unlock my 500gb hdd on my pc after i had to re install windows 7 but now everytime i type in the password to unlock the drive it comes up with:

The semaphore timeout period has expired


how do i unlock this drive and stop the above message appearing when i try to unlock it
 
hmmm not sure but go to microsoft website and see if they can help you... i think this is a encrytion where the key was on the old version of windows 7 before you reinstalled it.

try ms as they should be able to help you more...
