The question is, the only 1060 I can choose when customising is the one above however I see they have a Zotac variant in stock as well as many others. The price varies, some a little and some a bit more, but what is the real difference. I don;t mind paying an extra £10-£20 if it's worth it to get a better GFX card so which should I get??? They are al;l GTX 1060s with 6144. Overclockers Uk will build it so I will ask them to sub one model for another.

Here is the list on the site....https://www.overclockers.co.uk/search/index/sSearch/geforce+1060+6144/sPerPage/12/sPage/1

Anyone able to provide and insight and advice?

Also, if anyone spots anything glaringly problematic or easily improved in the build recommendations are more than welcome.

Thanks in advance.

If it were me I'd buy the cheapest 6gb 1060 with the longest warranty. They're all built to a reference design anyway with the only differences usually being the cooler and warranty length. The cards you have an option of picking from are all overpriced in my opinion.

I have the same question regarding the 1070

I have picked for my next build which is currently in progress and this is currently in my parts list.

EVGA GTX 1070 8GB SC GAMING ATX 3.0 £439.99

I picked this purely for aesthetics reasons only as i liked the EVGA logo on the outside of the card.

Yes, it is a bit of a tease sitting there with no stock announcements.

Yes, they are a bit thirsty - 500W would be pushing the limits - especially if you had an AIO and were clocking...

Wont be clocking, looking at the reviews its punch for punch with the 1070..

I meant your CPU (guessing Ryzen?) - but with the Vega 56 you actually under-volt them and then aim for a clock - they still power spike (from reading forum banter).

And yes, you won't be disappointed with the GTX 1070.
