no good at building ..the spec was given to me over the phone ..that why i asked for opinions b4 i order it ..the spec given by shadow boxer is that as good or better than the one i got on the fone ..this is why i foned i havt a clue...would they put the shodow boxer spec together for me if its any better...John

ok thanks to you both..but with the gpu (grafix card) and as for the sli he didnt mention that at all . i dont want a to get ripped of by computer companys selling me stuff i dont need but everyone is out to get as much money out of you as they can to peeps like me that dont know naf all about pcz..so i decided to get a Battlefield War General Intel Core i7 2700K 3.50GHz.. but with more memory and a better SSD the sales bloke said i would be better off buying a better gpu as it would help with my converting and editing,,,John

well i emailed oc about shadow boxer spec and this is there reply ..Unfortunately we are unable to provide custom builds such as this, and you would need to select a bundle or system from our website, and you may be able to make a few amendments to it by calling our sales team directly. As for the high spec, if you are not looking for gaming it is unlikely that you will need an i7 processor and a Z68 motherboard, this is likely to be what our forum members are referring to. The i7 and Z68 provide an extremely high performance which is only really required for the latest heavy loading games...so now what help plz...

i wont be able to build my own as i'm disabled ... i might just buy the system as on the fone to oc..at least that way i got a system they built and will have a warranty.. IT will do what i want .. i dont really understand this ..(cuda)&(lucid virtu ).. ..when i foned oc i asked if i could change the spec of there battle war general..with more memory and SSD BETTER THEN THER ONE THATS IN THERE...the programs i use is nero 7..convertavitodvd quick par ..dvd shrink...what should i do i can buy the bits and get my local pc shop to build but they will want paying or go for the one i was speced at oc..John

i know where your coming from and thanks for your help..pity u didnt work at oc..your more helpful...i wonder is it they wont build a spec like yours here now cuz of conflicts..with there systems they test them ...they did suggest the battlefield war rush I5.. on the I7 spec with 27" oal monitor the price was £1,357.25 monitor was £185

This dvdfab will it convert avi to dvd ii i have just got a copy but cant find that option...theres a lot on there DVDFab.v8.1.6.1

It's an awesome program!! You want the "DVD creator" tab on the left side of the window. You then drag and drop or point it to your encoded movie file and it will convert it to dvd (just like convertxtodvd does)

got it ..its working ..how long duz it take to convert a 700 mg file to dvd its been going now 15 mins and the slider at bottom hasnt moved ...John...up date 30 mins now and still not burning

Pass john. The source should be your video file and the target is the DVD writer.

I can't lie I have never used it for that, I just know it has the ability to do it. I use it just to rip blu-ray and dvds. I'll soon be having a bash at making my 2D movies 3D with it.
