Bit of a challenge - Vapo + INX-720

I’ve looked far and wide but have failed miserably so now I have to you with a challenge to find a chassis that I could not.

I’m looking for a case in black or silver with a footprint of 210x490mm that does not have a strange system for media storage underneath the main cabinet so that a Vapochill (Scroll down to the bottom) unit can be used. That bit is easy; Lan-li do a reasonable selection of cases for this.

The part of this that makes it insanely hard is that the case must also have at least 2 inches (51mm) of space above the power supply in the rear so that an INX-720 system can also be used. I’m aware that I could use an Exos-2 instead of an INX-720 but put simply, it doesn’t look nearly as good.

If you cannot find one either, could you please recommend a custom case builder that I could commission (Yes im that desperate)? Or does anyone else have any ideas? Cheers.

Would the pc70 fit the bill?

Or how about a Cheiftec case, they have the internals that may be able to suit.

The internals of both fit well. Unfortunately all the Chieftec’s I had a look at were too thin at a 205mm width instead of a 210mm which would look nasty.

However the PC-70 was a very good suggestion I hadn’t noticed it before, the internals fit the spec and its width is 210 but its Depth is 588 a full 98mm more than I want but I –could- fashion a box for the rear of the unit but that would rise the whole question of the join between the rear of the Vapochill and the box. But I also could make an entirely new Vapchill casing (Would need to get my hands on a unit to see how much of a job that would be, im guessing it isnt easy). Good ideas, thanks for the help.

Anyone else have anything?

Yes indeed you can but unfortunately they are of 490 depth rather than 588 depth.

According the the vapochill site they fit the;

PC-60, PC-61, PC-65, PC-7, PC-12, PC-37, PC-82, PC-601, PC-0700,PC-0716a, PC-0716s, PC-6077, PC-6085A.

Unfortunately none of these have a 51mm clearance above the psu and the pc-70 isn’t in that list
