How do I get rid of the "uread mail" warning on the log on screen on windows XP pro?

I know its such a simple thing but I cant think how to get rid of it, I dont have any unread mail.

I am using the outlook from the Beta version of office 2007, is there an option I tick in there or somewhere else?

You could change the logon screen to show the Ctrl alt + del screen instead.... makes it a bit more secure as well.

It will be reading it from outlook express. Check that and remove the welcome to OE mail.

I think TweakUI can do this also.

This can also be done by easily editing the registry.
