Alright folks, well my question is this.

I have Windows 7 installed on my PC, but its on a crappy drive really, So I bought a new f3 drive to take its place.

Now Ive not activated my Windows copy yet as I knew Id be getting a new drive.

Do I simply install take out current drive then install Windows on the new drive without any issues?

I own the Retail Win 7

Yes, will be absolutely fine, only issues with reinstalling windows comes with changing the motherboard (particularly if it's an OEM copy).

Yes, it'll be fine.

Doesn't matter even if you had activated it, it goes by your motherboard ID if I'm not wrong, not the HDD.

*edit, beaten

Yes,
Because it is the same PC you will have no problems whatsoever (even if you had of activated it on the old drive)
Simply unplug the old drive, install the new drive and install windows as normal, then simply activate your copy :)

*EDIT*
damn you boy`s are quick! there were no replies when i started my reply lol

and even if it has been activated, i have never yet come accross a version that wont activate on another system, it just says you have major hardware changes and sometimes you need to do the automated phone activation. you own the licence and can put it on as many machines as you like as far as i know, but you can only legally use one machine. so upgrades should not affect it, just takes a bit longer to activate.

Thanks for prompt replies lads, just finished copying steam folder so now its install time.
