Bit of a rant

On my way to work this morning, as I turned right at a junction I was met by a 7.5tonne TNT truck approaching the junction, I was doing 15-20mph tops. TNT truck was at least a foot on my side of the road so I had to pull in to the left to avoid him, anyway clipped the kerb as I pulled across and split the sidewall on the nearside front.

Thankfully they had to order my tyres in so I didn't have them fitted afterwork yesterday.

TNT aren't going to do anything anyway. Its not like they're driver will admit fault, then if he does I doubt they'll cough up for the cost a new tyre.

7 and a half tonner vs 900kg of car is going to hurt me more than him. Another car then I'd have been a stubborn barsteward

I just ordered a dash cam to help capture stuff like this happening on camera. I had a very narrow miss with a DPD courier van the other day when he was basically on my side of the road.

Interesting idea, would even need a dash cam, the car cradle for my phone doesn't block the camera
