Hi
I've got a site-to-site IPSec tunnel setup between home and university, which works brilliantlly. I used to have smoothwall running at uni, but I changed the PFSense yesterday. At home there's a Draytek Vigor 2600plus.
The VPN works better now - it reconnects when one side resyncs, which didn't happen in smoothwall... but it's thrown up a weird problem that I can't get to the bottom of.
I have a webserver & exchange installed at home, and IIS is also running here too. If I RDP into a box at home and try browsing to the public IP in durham, I get a timeout. Similarly, if I try browsing to the home server by its public IP from durham, I get a timeout. I can, of course, access both completely fine by their private IPs. (I'm fairly sure both are working and ports are forwarded - I'm assuming http://mail.csmager.net/ works for everyone here?)
I can ping the IP address, and I have the router's web config enabled for remote management, and that works on the public IP. Just nothing behind it.
Any ideas why? This never used to happen!
