Bit of a weird directory problem....

Ok lets start....

How do I change the directory of my Music and pictures in my start menu??
For some reason, when I click the My music/pictures in my start menu, it directs me to my My music/pictures in my shared folders? :confused:

Seems like they are linking to the wrong place.....

Instead of here.

C:\Documents and Settings\t31os\My Documents\My Pictures

Its going here.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures

Or at least how it would be if mine pointed to the shared one.

Am i on the right track?

I can't seem to find a way to change it back to normal

Nah that only works for My Docs from the start menu i already tried it, i set those folders to show and tried editing, not found a way yet, bear with me.

Maybe windows has changed the destination of the folders so its not just the start menu.

The thing is the my music/pictures are in my documents all fine..
Can't see why its directing it to the wrong folders in the start menu...

Download TweakUI, choose from the left My Computer > Special Folders

You should be able to point them to the right places if any are incorrect. If they show as being correct in TweakUI i can't think what else to try.

When did the links last work and what have you installed/modified since then if anything?
