Hey guys,

Ive just recently went down the root of eyefinity and got my self 3 22" AOC monitors. And I have to say i am loving the eyefinity style of gaming especially in car games and skyrim.

But im now feeling a slight lack of pulling power and have decided as the winter months come in i am going to buy a second 7970 to crossfire with. At the moment I have a humble 650watt psu and was wondering what power PSU im going to need to pull both cards along with my i5 and the other bits and bobs in the case.

I will mainly be looking at the silverstone power supplies so i can make sure it matches my case nicely.

Many thanks in advance.

The 7970's draw more power than 680's IIRC so you're going to be looking at a good quality 750W minimum IMO. Ideally an 850W to give you some overclocking headroom (just in case). 850W is probably overkill but the price difference between the two isn't really that much.
