are these sata connections just to the right of the 2 sata conections on this board the yellow ones,and will i see much of a performance hit only using 2x8 in crossfire instead of 2x16 cheers with 2 5770s

Yes, the yellow connectors are the sata ports. There are 6 yellow ones and they are connected to the south bridge.

Using 2 5770s in 2x8 crossfire you won't get much of a performance hit.

lol think this is the 4th time in as many days i posted this

8x8 vs 16x16 on 5770 CF is 2% so bench marking only real world you would non the wiser

it looks as if you have to plug the sata plugs in at the side as this would be perfect for me as my 5850 is to long and covers them if they were to be plugged in on top,is that right
