Just a few questions in relation to Windows 8. I currently run Windows 7 on an overclocked system. If I install Windows 8 am I right in thinking my over clock will be stored in the bios? If this is correct will my overclock be retained?

I have Win 7 running on a 180GB SSD, is it best to choose a fresh install and back my data up which is saved mostly on a separate HDD such as photos, music steam etc.??

Last but not least, If steam game data is installed on a separate drive (HDD), when i upgrade to windows 8 on the SSD do i need to start from scratch installing steam and game data?

I hope that makes sense.

Overclock should be maintained.

As far as I know, a fresh install of Windows 8 will just upgrade your Windows 7 install. Data on other HDDs shouldn't be touched.

The game data should still be there after install. Just install Steam and point it at the game files.

Thats great, I had a feeling steam would work like that, just wanted to make sure.
