Hey guys.

Ive got a bit of a predicament.

I have a Logitech x540 5.1 system plugged into my TV's headphone socket, providing virtual surround sound.

And i have a Logitech Z-2300 2.1 System with my PC.

The problem is, im hearing that a 5.1 system is much better for gaming. Ideally, I would like my 5.1 system for my pc, but I wouldnt have the space for the 2 rear speakers to go anywhere, unless I like mounted them to my chair or something lol.

So should I just get a decent set of stereo headphones and a Xonar DG and have some virtual surround sound and keep my other setups how they are?

Cheers.

Well 5.1 speakers are only of real use if they are placed correctly, so if you are unable to do that, it probably would be best to get a Xonar DG, and some stereo headphones.

Some people in the desk gallery thread, just place 5.1 speakers all in a line on a desk I've noticed. Rather pointless really. :p

What would you be looking to spend on a pair of headphones?
