Bit of confusion

Hi peeps, does DDR2 have to be matched ie.. 2 x 2gig sticks or can I run 1 x 1gig and 1 x 2gig for a total of three gig.?

Well, DDR2 (i thnk ) means it only supports DDR2 type RAM, so yes, i think not 100% sure tha you cold get 3GB RAM, just check you have the correct number of RAM slots, plus what OS do you have?

You can run any combination size wise.
Always better not to cross brands if you can help it.
You do need matched pairs for dual channel though.
