Hi guys and girls

Trying to get my head around what to buy to move to wireless, but getting confused with things like this;

netgear DG834N router - £97.51 inc VAT

Netgear WN311B 300Mbps Rangemax NEXT PCI Adapter - £113.39 inc VAT

Or you can buy them both together for this much saving over £100?

Netgear DG834N router & WN311B 300Mbps Rangemax NEXT PCI Adapter - £105.74

Im going to be needing one PCI adapter for my my mums computer so the above deal for £105 doesnt seem to bad, then i will be needing a USB adapter, could some one explain the difference between these two?

I see ones a bit cheaper, but runs at 300Mbps and has "NEXT" in the name, :confused:

Netgear WPNT121 240Mbps Rangemax USB 2.0 Network Adapter - £66.92 inc VAT

Netgear WN121T 300Mbps Rangemax NEXT USB Adapter - £61.09 inc VAT

Finally is this a good choice for wireless? i use bit torrent a lot and in the future will have a laptop and a nintendo Wii and maybe a xbox360 to connect wirelessly, will they all work ok?

Thanks for the help :)

I would strongly suggest not buying any of the draft/pre N spec routers unless you really need to have wireless speeds of higher than 108Mpbs. If you are going to be just using the wireless to browse the web etc and not for transfering large you do not need to have the draft N stuff.

Also the draft N kit could possibly not work with the finalised version of the N standard so it is not worth the risk especially at the prices they are charging for it at the moment

You would be much better of buy a normal 54Mpbs G router and adapters and save yourself a lot of money.

I have found Netgear, Dlink and Linksys stuff to be very good and reiable all you need to get is an ADSL modem/router with wireless and then USB adapter a for each machine. You should be able to get everything for under £100
