Hi

So I really don't follow all this stuff anymore so could do with some help

I've had to return my Asus AMD Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II OC Graphics Card to a retailer after 6 months. From what I can see there is a problem with the driver and dual monitors which I need for work. I basically get horizontal flickering in 2d/3d and turning off the display port monitor and back on gets rid of it for a bit.

ATI is out of the question as I've sank enough time into trying to fix it. This is the problem:

So

Could anyone advise a card in the region of £250 (value which I bought at)

I play the odd game (1440p)
But I mainly use Photoshop, Zbrush and Substance painter which is GPU based.

I'm guessing a GTX970? Need to order tomorrow really.

Thanks

A GTX 970 will do the job and a very decent card. Go for something with a decent warranty though like EVGA, MSI or even Asus with OcUK now being a very quick turnaround.
