i have been offered a gaming tower for 300 pounds this is ths spec. its taken from the advert he made it seemed to me a bargain but would this set up run mw3 and bf3 etc??

8800 is really getting on now, if you already have a S-ata HDD you can use then something like this would outperform it by quite a bit, have much more room for upgrades and you'll have warranties on everything.

well i was going to upgrade the ram straight away to 16gb corsair vengence, and then upgrade the gpu to a 560ti asus. would that run pretty nice for the next year or so?

Well it probably runs DDR2, which means 16GB will cost you at least £160 or so.

You would be better off just building a system with a 560Ti in it already.
 
okay, to be honest budget is max 600 pounds, its not for me just for a friend il just be setting it up etc. i thought even with a change of motherboard gpu and memory it would be a pretty good set up am i wrong?
