Bit of help with looking at a macbook

Hi all

I was looking at a macbook instead of a netbook...

everyone keeps saying how they are better etc.

Now looking at the website it says it have a 7 hour battery life? is this while on the internet etc? The only games I would be playing on them is WOW or CM so would i get like 5 hours on this or dvd play back?

Also do they have blue ray players built in?

Do they have HDMI? and finally do they have VGA ports? as I would be looking for all 3

I thought they were all about the media apple macs? no HDMI sucks a bit?

can you get hdmi converters?
 
hmm I'm thinking I will give it some time to improve. looks like a lot of the current spec are almost a year old now? surely they will be updated soon?

any news of a blue ray drive? or better cpu coming soon? Currently have a 2 year old dell Vostro 1500. But looking at it that spec it is almost same as current dell.

Would maybe looking at the mac book air... but would need to see how small it was as look flat but fat if you know what i mean. but having a SSD sounds nice... Im guesing if I upgraded the SSD it would void warrenty?
