Ok so I started lowering my sport on 35mm springs, rears were done fine no issues, but then when we came to the fronts we ran in to some problems!

Got one side on fine, but the driver’s side.... the part, which holds the spring in place at the top of the strut was rotted away (not the strut mount) Luckily we found it, because it was damned dangerous! Had to put the wheel on to move the car off the ramp and got a quick photo of it because it looked pretty cool, but totally Unpractical :D Once done it should still sit fairly low, but with a fair bit more clearence! Im happy with the rears though, sits perfect.

Ordered the bits, so should have some final pictures at the weekend when its actually sitting properly:) Got my new business cards today as well which is cool, and I feel like showing of…:)

I'd have thought you'll be getting pick of the trade-ins when people upgrade to the new model

Given you work for Subaru, it is only fair that you replace the E30 with a mint classic Impreza Turbo :D

I was gonna say that. Do you get fleet cars to use? My cousin is sales manager at mercedes and she gets to take whatever test car they have on the forecourt home on the weekends (usually the SLK 55 :D) the *****.

I have seen a few. Im in no real rush though to be fair, im just having some fun with the E30 getting it how I wanted. Towards the end of the year I will look to seriously changing it:)

Cheers:) Front should get sorted tommorow night, will have just under 2 cm of clearence from what i can tell, so will sit better.

No company car as such, but wouldnt want one to be fair. I have been taking a car to get home, just so I dont have to take the E30 to work any more, because leaving it parked on the road was killing it!
