Bitdefender Antivirus

Is bitdefender built into vist ultimate x64?
I have never installed it and when I click on a certain file it tells me bitdefender as closed the application?

Any ideas peeps

I think you mean Windows Defender,yes that is part of Vista.

I know its a antivirus program and it really does say bitdefender.......I have never installed this as I use nod 32.....when I do a search in vista nothing comes up either bit confused

Is it not something to do with the "BitLocker" drive encyption? that is included in Vista Ultimate?
